BIBLE STUDY

Bible studies at Trinity study the Holy Scriptures considering the historical context of the biblical writings, addressing contemporary issues of our day, and always center on Christ's saving work on the cross for us sinners. We believe the Holy Spirit works through the Word to call us to and grow our faith. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is incapable of error, inspired by God, and authoritative in every phase of life.

Current Bible Studies at Trinity are:

  • 1 Corinthians - meets Sundays at 10:15 am & Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the lunchroom

  • Genesis - meets Sundays at 10:15 am in the Parish Hall Classroom

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Carry out the mission of the church by getting involved with Stephen Ministry. The name comes from Acts 6, where Stephen was chosen as a man full of faith and God's grace to spread the ministry of the word. The ministry focuses on training lay people to aid their church by offering care to those in need through visits. Stephen Ministers are trained to help members of their congregation facing a wide range of hardships including illness and grief. The specialized training teaches Stephen Ministers how to walk with those struggling with a caring and listening ear while offering Christian guidance. Christ-centered care in the face of adversity can offer support, compassionate care, and a personal relationship that will strengthen the ministry of our church.

QUILTERS

Quilters meet in the church quilting room. They tie quilts every Tuesday and sew the second Tuesday of each month. They also meet every Wednesday at 1:00 pm to quilt for other people. These "Willing Workers" are paid for their efforts and the money is donated to miscellaneous needs of the church.

Quilts are made and shipped twice a year to world relief projects all over the world. Hundreds of quilts are donated annually to World Relief and to foreign students for the International Ministry.

GOOD AGERS

The Good Agers meet the second Thursday of the month, September through May, for fellowship and activity. All Trinity members, 55 years and older, are invited to participate in our Good Agers events. Our main goal is Christian fellowship and to encourage personal growth through religious, cultural, and civic programs while making new and renewing existing friendships.
